Content marketing is the creation of original material to share with online viewers in hopes of connecting with them as clients. The goal is that your material will inspire the reader to eventually sign up for your coaching services.

In our technology-driven world, tech coaches provide a valuable service by helping to enlighten the tech-challenged. Tech coaches can use content marketing for their businesses in the following ways:

User-friendly blog posts. If you love writing, consider creating and maintaining a blog filled with helpful, user-friendly technology information for your subscribers. Remember to use down-to-earth, easy to digest language in your posts.

Product reviews. New tablets, smartphones and computers seem to be released each week. Take the time to review some of these new products and assist your clients in their technology shopping.

Tech tips. Consider composing some concise, helpful tip sheets for your readers on a variety of technology subjects. Topics might include, "5 New Gadgets Your Home Shouldn't Be Without" or "The Top 10 Smartphones of the Year."

Video demos. Many people don't even know where to begin when they get their new tech product home and out of the box. Consider creating video tutorials to help users to get up and running with technology. You can also demonstrate how to troubleshoot common problems. Be sure to include a call to action at the end of all of your content marketing material.
